How Amenify Dog Walking Works
1. Dog Walkers hired
Amenify vets, trains, hires, and insures a small number of local dog walkers for each building.
2. Schedule times
The professional Dog Walkers visit the community based on Resident demand, on a fixed schedule. Their availability is limited, so we recommend Residents book in advance!
3. Meet & greet
The first engagement is always an introduction to explain the program and build trust between dog, walker, and dog-owners. From there, services can commence or be adjusted as needed.

In addition to one-time appointments, Amenify offers the option to sign up for a recurring service. A subscription service repeats every week on the same day(s) of the week. You can select more than one (1) day per week.
With Amenify's subscription service, there is no contract, so you can skip or discontinue service at any time.

At Amenify, pet safety is our top priority. We understand that your dog is a member of the family. Here's a few quick tips that we recommend:
Complete your dog's profile. The details will help your dog walker provide the best experience.
Introduce your dog to the walker. It always helps the process if you are able to be present when your dog meets the dog walker.
Over-communicate with the dog walker. Let them know how to contact you. Tell them if your dog has any favorite parks or behavior challenges.

As pet parents ourselves, we know that your dog is a member of your family and we want you to feel comfortable and confident in your choice.
Every Dog Walker on Amenify has been thoroughly reviewed and has done the following:
• Posted details about themselves, including dog walking experience
• Uploaded a photo of themself
• Completed a background check
• Taken a safety quiz
After each dog walking session, Amenify asks the pet parent(s) to provide a rating of the dog walkers. Amenify also provides training materials and videos for dog walkers to refresh and improve their skills.

We aim to provide consistency by sending the same dog walker each time whenever possible. It is important to note, though, that we do not commit to send the same dog walker every time due to each individual's schedule and other factors, including location and the number of other dogs getting walked in the area.

The actual distance varies based on a few factors including the type and size of the dog, but Amenify Dog Walkers typically provide 30-minute and 60-minute walks to ensure that your dog(s) get sufficient exercise and time outside.
